How do I make a booking on your website?
It’s easy! Simply go to our “Get a Quote” page and fill in your details. We will then be notified of your request and will email you back with a quote.
When you accept the quote we will send you a confirmation with all the details on it and book it into our system. ‘
We will then be in contact within a week before your booking to confirm all details and let you know who your driver will be.

What information do I need in order to book?
You will need the following information:
- Contact details
- Date
- Number of passengers
- Pick up address and time
- Drop off address
- Return address and time (if needed)
If this information is not known yet, please provide as much as your can and we can provide a tentative quote. This can then be updated when you know more.

How do I pay for my booking?
When your booking is confirmed we will send you an order/invoice with all booking and payment details on it.
We require a 50% deposit (or full payment) to be paid into our account via EFT 1 week prior to the date of booking. A payment receipt should be forwarded to our email address upon payment.
The balance is then payable in cash to the driver on first pick up.

Can I book a transfer with more than one stop?
Yes! Our quoting system charges from when we leave our depot to when we get back. Our drivers will make as many pickups as you would like and we will factor these pickups/dropoffs into our quote.

My booking requirements have changed, can I amend my booking?
All booking amendments must be confirmed 1 business day prior to the day of the booking. This is to ensure driver manifests are updated and informed of all changes.

Do you have a luggage trailer?
Yes, we have a white luggage trailer that can be used for bags, sporting equipment and musical instruments. Please advise us of luggage trailer requirements on your booking.

Where do I meet my driver?
All driver details will be given to you 1-2 days before you travel. The driver will then arrive 5-10 mins before allocated pick up time at the allocated pick up location and call you when they arrive. You will then be able to stay in contact with them for the duration of your booking.

How do I pay my balance?
If you have already paid your 50% deposit, the balance can either be paid via EFT (with payment receipt sent) or given to the driver in cash on first pick up.
If a receipt is needed, please let the office know and they will email you one the next business day.

Can I extend my booking on the day?
We understand that your circumstances may sometimes change on the day of your booking. We are flexible on the timings, however we will need collect extra payment should you run significantly overtime.
Generally, we charge $40 for every half hour you are late, then $80 for every hour you are late. If this should be the case, please contact the driver.

What if I get motion sickness?
If you suffer from motion sickness, please alert the driver upon getting on the bus.
You will then need to take necessary precautions to help you settle your motion sickness. Some tips to avoid this are:
- Sit close to the front
- Look straight ahead
- Avoid greasy/oily meals and alcohol prior to getting on the bus
- Eat something salty
- Take motion sickness tablets.
If the motion sickness does result in vomiting please alert the driver ASAP.

Do your buses have signwriting?
Yes, some of buses do. As our buses are used for school runs and courtesy bus runs some do have the branding of either the school or club. We do have some buses without sign-writing available.
If you prefer a bus with no sign-writing please let us know and we will try and accommodate as well as we can.

Do you allow alcohol on the bus?
If you would like to drink on the bus please let us know upon confirming the booking. We will add a $50 fee.
We will also ensure there is a bin placed in the bus for all the empties.
Under no circumstances with GLASS be allowed onto the bus – please ensure all drinks are in plastic cups or cans.

Do you have any buses for sale?
At times we will advertise any vehicles that we have for sale. Please check back regularly.

How can I apply for a drivers position?
If you would like to apply to become a bus driver at Beats Walkin Mini Bus Hire please send through an inquiry on our Contact Us page and we will get back to you.
You will need to have the following before you can apply:
- Minimum of a Light Rigid (LR) licence
- RMS issued Bus Driver Authority
- Current driving record (6 months validity)
- WCC (desirable but not necessary)
